The current need for professional truck driver is going to increase as thousands of truck drivers are nearing retirement age. Some drivers are retiring, some are not able to qualify medically. I personally chose to let my CDL go last year due to medical reasons. Also, there aren't as many young people choosing truck driving as an occupation.
